On Thursday 17th January, Keith Quille, a lecturer from Tallaght I.T. who works closely with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment, visited Bush Post Primary to do a workshop with our 5th year Computer Science students. The workshop focused on the Applied Learning Task 2 (ALT 2) and analytics. The students learned how to read data from a sensor using the Micro:bit, store the data in a file, clean up the data and then output it to a graph for analysis. It was a very interesting workshop and students will use the skills they learned to create their own projects for ALT2. A huge thanks to Keith for making the journey to Bush Post Primary and we look forward to working with him and his colleague Roisin Faherty again over the coming year.
