Tara Excels in TCD
Congratulations to Tara Suresh on being awarded an Entrance Exhibition from Trinity College. Entrance Exhibitions reward academic achievement of new undergraduate entrants to Trinity College Dublin. They are awarded to the student accepted into the first year of a full-time undergraduate degree programme who achieves the highest points among Trinity entrants from their secondary school. …
DkIT Liaison Officer Visit
A huge thank you to Diarmuid, school liaison officer, from DkIT who spoke with sixth year students on Friday 3rd February. Diarmuid stressed the importance of including level 6 and 7 courses on CAO applications. He also highlighted the fortunate position our students are in to live so close to DkIT.
Online Safety Talk
A huge thank you to Kevin Cleary and Rachel Copperthwaite, An Garda Síochána, who presented to all 1st , 2nd and 3rd year students on February 9th as part of our school’s Internet Safety Week on Online Safety. Kevin and Rachel held a captivated audience speaking to the students about Online Wellbeing, False Information, Self-Esteem Online and Respectful Communication Online.
National Gallery Visit
TY and Senior Art students recently enjoyed a very successful trip to the National Gallery in Dublin where they experienced a tour of the Gallery Highlights as well as the renowned Zurich Portrait Competition Exhibition.
