A group of fifth and sixth-year students visited Southern Regional College on Tuesday 8th October 2024. There they heard about traineeship and apprenticeship opportunities available at the College. Well done to JP McKeown, David McMahon, Adam Brady and Nathan Johnson who represented the school so well at the Rotary School Youth Leadership Competition. TY students organised a Purple Run Fundraiser to help support Down Syndrome Ireland. This event aimed to raise awareness and funds through a fun walk/run where participants wear purple to show solidarity. €250 was raised and all proceeds were donated to Down Syndrome Ireland to support individuals with Down syndrome.
