The work of the Student Council

The Student Council plays an important role in giving students a voice in the life of our school. Working in partnership with teachers and management, the council helps to organise events, run whole school initiatives, promote student wellbeing, and strengthen our sense of community.

The Student Council has responsibility for

Recent Activities

This year, we have just set up our new Student Council. Students in each year group voted for the pupils elected to represent them, ensuring that every year has a say in school matters. Since forming, the council has elected their Chairperson (David McMahon), Vice Chairperson (Alisa Volkova), Secretary (Katie Jo McBride) and a number of Public Relations Officers (Molly Rose Long, Tadgh Traynor and Hayley Hoey). They have also ratified six important school policies, demonstrating a strong commitment to active participation and responsible leadership.
