Special Educational Needs (SEN) Department
The Special Educational Needs (SEN) Department plays a central role in supporting an inclusive, caring, and student-centred school community. Our aim is to ensure that every student is supported to reach their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.
Working collaboratively with students, parents/guardians, teachers, and external agencies, the SEN team provides targeted support based on individual needs. This includes in-class support, small-group and one-to-one interventions, reasonable accommodations, and the use of assistive and digital technologies to enhance learning.
The department is committed to early identification, ongoing assessment, and the development of personalised support plans that empower students to become confident, independent learners. We also work closely with subject teachers to promote inclusive teaching practices across the school.
At the heart of our work is a strong belief that every learner has strengths, talents, and the ability to succeed. The SEN Department strives to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel valued, understood, and encouraged to achieve their best.
